What does a first session with you look like?

I like to meet people where they’re at and prefer to work collaboratively to explore needs and create goals. I am gentle, but direct and believe trust and open communication is essential in the therapeutic relationship. Seeking therapy can be overwhelming, but I hope to provide a space where you can be yourself and be heard, and to build the confidence you need to take control of your emotions and achieve your goals.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I provide emotional support, solution-focused treatment, and utilize a strength-based approach in my practice. I also utilize interventions from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
