What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions. Thriveworks helps people live happier, more fulfilling lives. Clients are guided and supported as they work through their unique mental health challenges – and, along the way, shown the life-changing power of therapy.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. I am a married mother of three children who are 20, 11 and 9 years old. I enjoy reading and have been a member of a book club for 11 years. Book club is an integral part of my self-care and love discussing the monthly book as well as life's ups and downs. I also love watching my children play sports. As a family-oriented working mother and wife, I understand the unique and intricate family dynamics of raising a family and balancing work along with individual interests and would love to work with you along your growth and exploration of the intricacies of family/life balance.
