What does a first session with you look like?
I create a safe space where we can talk and use a variety of techniques to help with whatever might be going on such as sadness, stress, anxiety, depression and many other “issues”. As someone who is always on your side, I can help guide you in your journey without judgment through the use of worksheets, videos and games!
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I always meet you where you are in your journey. My approach to helping you is through the use of evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, CBT and Person-Centered. I also ask your input every step of the way such as your preference in learning (videos, games, worksheets, etc.)
