What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Jaclyn Turpin is a LPC-MHSP, who has been practicing since 2017. She graduated from Adler University with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jaclyn uses a non-judgmental, mindful, and collaborative approach to help others reduce their suffering. She most often utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with adults who have a diagnosis such as Borderline Personality Disorder or generally any sense of feeling out of control of one's emotions. She first focuses on the here and now, then organically works backwards to find the root cause of the ineffective behaviors. Jaclyn is originally from Kentucky, but has called Tennessee home since 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, drawing, organizing, and spending time with her husband and two cats.
