What does a first session with you look like?

After a thorough assessment of the client's cognitive, emotional and behavioral status, with utilization of appropriate psychological tests, an accurate diagnosis will be established from which a comprehensive treatment plan will be formulated and treatment begun. Maladaptive thoughts and behaviors will be identified and ways to make significant changes established with the goal of better adjustment and coping skills. The ultimate goal of personality change is necessary to ensure that enduring life skills will prevail.

What is your style/approach to therapy?
