What does a first session with you look like?
I make people feel understood. I will help you untangle life's problems. I can provide guidance in perspective, ordered thinking, mindfulness and purposeful decision making. Together we will find a place of good communication and cooperation with a concentration on your healing and happiness. You will know that I'm on your side.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to mental health and behavioral issues. I understand that different individuals require different approaches, which is why I use a variety of therapies tailored to fit each person's unique needs. These methods include Gestalt Therapy, Existential Therapy, Reality Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help my clients increase awareness, freedom, and self-direction. I believe that every person has the power to shape their own life, and I am dedicated to helping my clients find their own paths to healing and happiness.
