What does a first session with you look like?
Clients working with me can expect dedication to their set goals and unconditional support through whatever life throws their way. You should finish sessions with a sense of relief, peace and meaningful subject matter to ponder for the coming week.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I employ a humanistic and existential perspective that focuses on challenging cognitive distortions with cognitive-behavioral and dialectical-behavioral techniques. We will use some workbooks, journaling prompts and atmospheric music to place your mind in a state primed for working through changes in your life.
