What does a first session with you look like?
You can expect to feel heard and validated. Sessions may be challenging when we are focusing on things that may feel uncomfortable but I will help you through each and every step so you're not going at it alone.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I like to use strengths based modalities to help you see the strenghts that you may not already recognize. I also rely heavily on cognitive behavioral strategies as the way we think often impacts our overall mood and behaviors. If we can shift our thoughts and challenge them, we see great impact.
