What does a first session with you look like?
After our first session together, clients often feel a sense of relief from being able to discharge a good amount of what they have been holding. Clients can also feel empowered to take charge of their goals and decisions. Clients are also able to deepen their awareness not only of themselves but also of their relationships.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I was trained in Relational Gestalt, a method focused on building relationships with clients. Through relationship building, we are able to build trust and show up with vulnerability. I assist clients in deepening their awareness through the use of mindfulness, breathwork, reflective listening, tarot, and homework exercises.
