In your first session, we will assess your current needs and begin to develop a plan to achieve the goals we develop together. We will work on building trust and establishing a safe environment with therapeutic communication and rapport with one another. It may take time to get comfortable working together, but I promise to make the process simple and less overwhelming.
I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma reprocessing skills including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Mindfulness techniques, Narrative Therapy, Gaming, and Art Therapy.
