What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions. Thriveworks helps people live happier, more fulfilling lives. Clients are guided and supported as they work through their unique mental health challenges – and, along the way, shown the life-changing power of therapy.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. As a single young woman, I understand and empathize with the challenges of entering into adulthood and navigating life after experiencing many obstacles to living a life filled with joy and peace.

What should we know about your experiences and background?

Along with her professional experience, Jennifer understands from a personal level what it is like to navigate the journey of personal healing. Jennifer utilizes multiple treatment approaches including EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
