What does a first session with you look like?
During your sessions with me you can expect an emphasis on the development of a trusting, supportive client-therapist relationship. I believe that the client-therapist relationship is the foundation for therapeutic work. When a client feels safe, supported and heard within the client-therapist relationship change happens.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My therapeutic style centers around the use of Motivational Interviewing to support clients in self-exploration and motivation to change. I incorporate mindfulness, mediation and other somatic practice to teach clients how to quiet their mind and feel in control of their bodies.
