What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

Jenny Stabler is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who works with patients ages 4 and up. Jenny provides a variety of services for children, adolescents and adults. Among her professional experiences, she has provided mental health services within the school setting to children and families. Through this, she has obtained a specialized perspective of the challenges children and adolescents face. This includes academic and behavioral challenges in the classroom, emotional concerns and difficulties with peers. Additional issues addressed include depression and anxiety with children, adolescents and adults; parenting support; attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder; grief and loss; and life changes. Jenny utilizes a strengths-based approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, sand tray, and expressive arts to support her clients. Creating and fostering safe and secure relationships are the foundation of her practice.
