What does a first session with you look like?
Clients can expect to have their needs addressed in a compassionate and caring manner. I want all clients to feel that their concerns were heard and never feel like anything they care about was overlooked or dismissed. I am committed to the total care of my patients.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I do offer some psychotherapy, but my focus is on the medical management of psychiatric illness and mental health. I will make sure that medications are optimized and a comprehensive review is done to assure that doses are at the minimal effective levels and that there are not significant interactions that would impair the goals of treatment whether for medical or mental health concerns.
