What does a first session with you look like?
My goal is to support you in understanding you and the role you play within the array of relationships you hold. By the end of the first session, my hope is that you have a clearer vision for your therapeutic goals and begin to build comfort within the therapeutic relationship.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
While I welcome the opportunity to apply a treatment method most appropriate for you, I tend to initiate treatment by focusing on the present moment utilizing methods associated with Mindfulness. Whether in conjunction with, or entirely separate, other methods that I commonly utilize within the therapeutic relationship are associated with Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
