What does a first session with you look like?
The first session is a time to gather information and develop rapport as this is a new relationship. We will work together to colloborate on what your goals are and how we can work together to meet them. I will offer psycho-education and an empathetic presence.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Methods I use in therapy are psychodynamic, attachment theory, CBT, DBT, trauma informed methods and grief therapy. Depending on what you want to work on will decide which treatment methods are used.
