What does a first session with you look like?
The first session will include introductions, asking about what led to scheduling the session, gathering relevant history, and hopefully having a laugh or two. Therapy can be many things, but it can also be enjoyable. Regardless of the situation, I want clients to look forward to our time together and leave a little lighter.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
The most common theoretical approaches that I use for therapy are Client-Centered, Solution Focused, Family Systems, CBT, Trauma Focused, and Mindfulness.
