Jessica Tarwater LPC

Jessica Tarwater is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with adolescents and adults. As a therapist, Jessica believes in treating each individual with compassion and empathy to ensure a safe and welcoming environment that promotes personal growth. She utilizes a collaborative and supportive approach with clients to help them gain a greater understanding of themselves and to help them with making the necessary changes to enhance their quality of life. Jessica received an undergraduate degree from Lewis University with a major in Psychology and a graduate degree in Counseling: Specialization in Forensic Psychology from Adler University. Jessica has experience providing treatment to youth at a detention/probation center and to adults with chronic and severe mental illness at an intensive outpatient program. Through a combination of psychoeducation, prevention, and intervention, Jessica assists clients with developing the skills to improve and manage their mental health and attain personal goals.
