What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Jillian Connor is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional in Rhode Island who has been practicing for more than 20 years. She graduated from Wheelock College with a Bachelor Degree in Social Work. Upon completion of her degree, Jillian began her work in the substance abuse and mental health field. After gaining experience in the field, Jillian obtained her License in Chemical Dependency. She has worked extensively with adolescents who struggle with addictions, depression, and anxiety. Jillian extended her work to include the adult population within the last 10 years. Her primary therapeutic style uses psychoeducation in conjunction with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
