What does a first session with you look like?
Clients can expect that we will establish a warm rapport, an agreed upon timeframe for the length and frequency of treatment, and a plan for achieving the individual's goals. Assignments can be expected to engage in new behaviors and communication techniques, although most of the work will occur in sessions. The individual's choices are always honored.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
As noted above, methods of treatment are dependent on the individual, their goals, and the issues identified as problematic. That may include cognitive behavioral therapy, for example, but may also involve other methods. These will be explained to the individual.
