What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Dr. Jim Simone is a Psychologist in Illinois who has been practicing since 1997. He has an A. A. in Substance Abuse, a B.A. in Liberal Arts, an M. A. in Family and Community Counseling, and a Psy. D. in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Simone has traveled extensively and worked as a Counselor and First Responder in a wide variety of situations. He believes this gives him insight into people who are struggling with a wide variety of difficulties. Outside of work, Dr. Simone enjoys reading, history, kayaking, mountain climbing, hiking, and ultra-racing.
