What does a first session with you look like?
My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices. I believe that each individual is unique and deserving of a personalized treatment plan that fits their specific needs and goals. I help my clients build upon their existing strengths while showing empathy as they journey to unpack and unlearn fruitless patterns that stalled their growth.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I offer a person-centered approach that involves methodologies that are grounded in evidence-based and evidence-informed practices. These practices are integrated with a range of techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and motivational interviewing, among others. For those who identify as Christian and wish to incorporate their faith into therapy, I am more than willing to integrate biblical perspectives into our sessions.
