What does a first session with you look like?
Together we will establish your working therapy goals. I will guide you to take the first steps towards identifying areas of your life you would like to see noticeable change and personal progress. Each session I will teach you how to maintain regular practice and use of healthy coping skills to ensure you are meeting your personal therapy goals.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use a combination of therapeutic approaches that encompass Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness- Based Counseling, Rational Emotive Therapy, and Reality Therapy. I will provide an initial evaluation of your needs and psychosocial history, have you complete ratings scales between sessions to measure severity of symptoms and continue to plan treatment as needed.
