What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Johanna Williams is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois who has been practicing since 2017. She obtained her Master's in Social Work from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. Johanna works in a compassionate, caring, yet straight forward manner with clients. Johanna tends to look at the client in environment and look at the need behind the behavior, rather than solely at the behavior in order to make change. Outside of work, Johanna's passion is spending quality time with her children and dogs. Family is her number one priority. If she is not engaged with family or friends she likes to travel (she was born and raised in the Netherlands), learn about new cultures, try new foods, or engage in sports.
