What does a first session with you look like?

I tailor my therapy to the individual client as I believe it is important to recognize that each client has his or her own history and own issues that can only be helped by providing a treatment plan specific to that client.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I utilize cognitive behavioral methods, but also incorporate other tools as needed. Additionally, for those with mild memory loss, I provide strategies to assist in maintaining current level of functioning and assist with coping skills to help in everyday life.
