What does a first session with you look like?
Finding the right therapist for you is important. I'm known for being a great listener, and a kid at heart. I'm a believer that life’s hardships can be opportunities for amazing growth. My approach is to gently challenge my clients with sensitivity for everyone's unique pace in self-discovery and motivation to achieve their goals.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize EMDR, Trauma Focused and regular Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and also integrate Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). I also have experience with grief counseling, coping with and managing ADHD, faith-based counseling, and use of play therapy.
