Jonathan Pawson LMHC

Jonathan Pawson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. He earned his Master's in counseling from Liberty University and his Master's in Divinity from Andrews University. He is obtaining his Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology, concentrating on attachment and trauma treatment. Jonathan sees counseling as an honor and a privilege because of the opportunity to share space with a client and begin a journey together. The goal is to discover inner strengths to empower for healing and life prosperity. These strengths are value-based and drive one through any barriers the client may encounter. This journey with his clients is made in a safe and non-judgmental environment where they can work through these complex issues and reach their goals. Jonathan's clinical method is a multi-modality approach, consisting primarily of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Within these models, he integrates positive psychology, where they focus on hope, encouragement, and gratitude, along with mindfulness. Jonathan's clients will find that he incorporates a team approach on this journey, where they celebrate victories along this therapeutic path together.
