I see my approach to treatment as equally compassionate and practical, with a focus on addressing guilt and shame, reducing stress, increasing distress tolerance, generating motivation, and increasing self-efficacy, worth, and confidence.

Although the first session or two are often about getting to know one another and establishing a rapport, my goal is to be an active partner from the outset. I want to instill hope in my clients and am always listening for opportunities to point out areas where clients may already be flourishing. Often these areas inform us about skills that you already possess that you could apply to some of the challenges you are facing.
