What does a first session with you look like?
My goal for every therapy session is the hope that each client will leave feeling listened to, heard, valued, and respected. It is important that clients feel supported and safe in therapy to explore new skills, to recognize maladaptive thoughts and behavior patterns, and to feel they are gaining new skills while edging toward positive changes
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use a variety of methods and techniques in therapy designed to fit the individual needs of each client. I highly value working with individuals from diverse cultures, varied cognitive and physical abilities, neurodiversities, all ethnic and racial identities, adults of all age groups, varied gender and sexual identities and expressions, education, and professions, and other differences and similarities.
