J.Travis Cross LPC
General Office Hours
In Eastern Time
I'm interested in helping you hear and see yourself more clearly; I want to first understand where you are in life (and where you have been) to help you then move to where you want to be. The first session or two will be dedicated to listening to you and establishing a plan for your treatment. Then, we will get to work.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focuses on thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, as well as how they interact with one another to produce your mental and emotional states. We will discuss these factors to discover what changes may help you. EMDR (Eye-Movement, Desensitization, and Reprocessing) is a treatment designed to help people mentally process very difficult (usually traumatic) information. I am a trained EMDR therapist and have been providing this for the past few years with significant success.
