What does a first session with you look like?
What can you expect during our sessions? You should feel listened to and part of my team. We'll review how your medications are working and any side effects you might be experiencing. We'll discuss ways to increase their effectiveness and I can give you helpful tips as to when to take your meds and why.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I prescribe mental health medications to treat various conditions. I have the ability to prescribe controlled medications for ADHD. I will prescribe "as needed" controlled medications on a short-term basis based on your needs. We will discuss the plan before these medications are prescribed with the understanding that they will be used only short term. I will work with you to find a medication plan that fits your needs.
