What does a first session with you look like?
When surveys go out, the most I hear is "She is kind, present, and helped me in ways, I could never imagine" The very first thing I try to do is connect and build a "trust" between you and I. I relate and maintain a safe environment for you to process your anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief
What is your style/approach to therapy?
For my 14 years in this field, I have treated 13 years old and up. I have certifications in Trauma therapeutic modalities (TF CBT, DBT, EMDR), that was obtained while I've been in practice. I am empathetic, sympathetic and passionate about helping clients that are struggling emotionally to help increase their functioning at work/school, social, and family.
