What does a first session with you look like?
My clients can expect authenticity, empathy, and a safe judgment-free space to process, reflect, and be vulnerable. I value honesty and utilizing direct communication during sessions. My goal is to empower my clients to learn coping skills so that they can manage everyday stressors in real-time.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize an integrative approach when working with clients and customize my modalities based on my client's needs. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered (Rogerian) therapy, and a psychodynamic approach.
