What does a first session with you look like?
In our first session, I will get to know you and tell you about myself and my approach to therapy. I also like to teach a technique that can help my clients get through difficult emotions in the moment. The second session is all about targeting and processing traumatic memories. Many clients are surprised at how quickly they start to feel better.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I mainly utilize EMDR therapy, as discussed above. I also use a mix of other types of supportive therapies to help clients to learn coping skills and manage stress.
