I utilize CBT skills, DBT skills, stress management skills, positive psychology skills, mindfulness skills, assertive communication skills, conflict resolution skills, solution-focused, all in a client centered approach.
What does a first session with you look like?
The first session is getting to know the client, likes, dislikes, interest and what is bringing them to therapy/counseling. I want the client to leave the session feeling hopeful in continuing their journey in therapy to accomplish their goals we have explored.
