What does a first session with you look like?

Clients can expect to address the root cause of their clinical concerns as opposed to focusing solely on the development of coping with these issues. Clients can expect to feel safe and supported while revisiting experiences that continue to create discomfort and distress in their present lives. Clients are also challenged to address thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve them in who they are and how they show up in the world.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I work with clients using a person-centered approach to help process historical and generational trauma that contributes to underlying anxiety and mood disorders. My approach focuses on tailoring treatment to each individual client's needs as opposed to using cookie-cutter methods. I incorporate components of traditional treatment methods while also paying attention to clients needs and the best way to meet those needs.
