What does a first session with you look like?
As a client, you can expect to take away a definite sense of being heard, seen, validated and treated with respect. To be exposed to new ways of thinking and responding to internal and external experiences. How to better challenge and manage stressors and other areas of your life that have historically been sources of pain, confusion or discomfort. To identify inner strengths or develop new ones by capitalizing on areas and opportunities for growth. My clients will walk away having discovered and unlocked the truly transformative power they possess within to reach their stated treatment goals and improve the quality of their lives and overall mental health.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Therapy, Empathic Listening and general client centered treatment modalities to provide clinically effective, ethical, and multi-culturally competent services.
