What does a first session with you look like?
One of the most important aspects of positive mental health is HOPE. My goal is for my clients to leave the session with renewed hope.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My clients should expect to learn and be involved in the following activities: --discussion with lots of questions and answers --anxiety-reducing activities --a focus on health--both physical and mental! --journaling --"homework" that might include things such as "acting as if...", trying out new things, reflection, etc.
