What does a first session with you look like?
Let’s meet to discuss your concerns and develop a plan for your healing journey. Each session you will develop skills to take with you and further develop between sessions. We will work together to empower you to be the person you discover is your best self. This journey will have ups and downs that you will learn to manage and effectively communicate to improve your relationships.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I have been trained and certified in various evidence based practices such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Seeking Safety, Triple P Positive Parenting Practices, 40 hour Domestic Violence Advocacy and Crisis Oriented Recovery Services. I will assist you to develop effective communication skills, mindfulness, relaxation and Poly-vagal toning techniques.
