What does a first session with you look like?
To have effective and fulfilling therapy, I believe that building rapport and trust is essential. In the first few sessions, we will begin to unpack reasons for coming to therapy and set treatment goals that will guide our sessions. I believe that no one knows you better than yourself. I take a person-centered approach. I am here to guide and walk with you on your healing journey.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize a person-centered, open-ended questions approach which helps you to guide the sessions. I primarily utilize DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing skills, and Solution-Focused modalities in session. I also enjoy existentialism and processing past traumas with clients.
