What is your style/approach to therapy?

I work from a trauma-informed, strengths based approach. I include elements of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, trauma focused, and systems-based methods to explore anxiety, depression, and other mood/trauma related emotional stressors. I incorporate artmaking as an option into sessions as a more embodied way to explore feelings and ideas in session.

What does a first session with you look like?

After your first session, you can expect to explore your connection to creativity and art, as well as identify exactly what areas of your life you'd like to do deeper work into. In session, we will explore both individual and systemic factors that contribute to stress and mental health in order to redefine what health looks like for you. I also encourage clients to explore outside of session the connections needed in order to sustain the work done in sessions.
