What does a first session with you look like?
After our initial intake, our sessions will be based solely off where you are. We will talk through the time between sessions and where you feel you are currently. In every session, the one thing that remains constant is that you are the main focus. Every session will be new and met with new tools and ideas, all while we work toward to the root of what is holding you back. It is the aim of each session to not end with exposed feelings, but to wrap up in a way where you feel healing and positive growth.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Through my years of experience, I have found great success in utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy partnered with Client Focused Therapy. It is always enlightening to see how much power our brain has, but it is even more enlightening to see how much power we have over our brain. When you are empowered to use techniques that allow you to have control, it enables you to believe in yourself and the power of refocused thoughts and directions.
