What is your style/approach to therapy?

My approach to OCD therapy involves examining thoughts and behaviors, then focusing on changing behaviors and tolerating the distress caused by thoughts. The most gratifying part of my job is witnessing those 'lightbulb' moments when people realize they don't have to live in fear, anticipation, or shame forever. I became a therapist to help people help themselves and wanted to specialize in OCD because I saw the need in my community and the lack of therapists specializing in OCD. My colleagues and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for people with OCD. Our deep understanding of the nuances and intricacies of OCD enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. We have received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD. When you start with therapy, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues based on your preferences. We’ll work to get to know you and create a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone. I look forward to working with you and helping you conquer your OCD
