What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Kendra Painter is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois. She has a Master's degree in Human Development Counseling with a Marriage, Couple, and Family concentration. Kendra's goal as a counselor is to collaborate with her clients in order to help them increase favorable thoughts, behaviors, and feelings. Kendra uses a cognitive behavioral approach to facilitate individuals, couples, and families to work through difficult issues and build resiliency as they journey toward the best version of themselves. Outside of work, Kendra enjoys daily yoga and meditation, reading psychological thrillers, non-fiction, and true crime, puzzle solving, playing board games, and spending time with her family and friends.
