What does a first session with you look like?
When the two of us meet, expect a space where you will feel appreciated and heard. My style is solution-focused and strengths-based, and it is always focused on you and what your needs are. Together we can work through issues in your relationship, family, job, or school. Feel free to share and feel empowered when discussing feelings of sadness, anxiety or trauma.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
When using solution-focused, strengths-based methods you will be prompted to share. Once in a while, you may be provided handouts or worksheets which you can choose to use or work on in your leisure time. These tools may help you to see things a little more clearly and may enhance our time together.
