What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions. Thriveworks helps people live happier, more fulfilling lives. I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems.

Kimberla Everett is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and a Licensed School Counselor (SC) who has 13 years of experience working in the mental health field and meeting diverse needs of others. Kimberla has a passion for helping adults, children, and families with overcoming barriers and making better choices. Sheis also well-versed in providing career counseling and addressing occupational concerns. Kimberla completed her Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling with an emphasis in Vocational Rehabilitation at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She completed her Master of Education (MEd) in School Counseling at Liberty University. Kimberla utilizes relational, collaborative, person-centered, cognitive behavioral, motivational, mindfulness-based, solution focused, and trauma focused approaches to therapy, and progress towards the reduction of symptoms is routinely measured. Kimberla has a passion for helping anyone who may be going through a difficult time in life.
