I have personally devoted a lot of time towards self-understanding and appreciate its benefits. With self-understanding you become more aware of your strengths, weaknesses and gain improved ability to set goals in your life. Gaining knowledge of self, self-awareness and self-love are essential elements that I explore with all of my clients.
My client is especially the focus for a first counseling session as well as subsequent sessions. The first counseling session is more of an orienting and consultation session. I will perform an initial assessment, discuss the reason for your visit and discussed desired outcomes.
A clients goals in therapy is determined by the clients desired outcomes and what they have decided to focus on during their session.

Depression often causes people to feel sad, empty, or hopeless, and can cause a lack of interest in life. It can also affect a person's thinking patterns and physical health.
Anxiety can mean nervousness, worry, or self-doubt. Anxiety disorder is a mental health disorder that entails excessive, repeated bouts of worry, anxiety, and/or fear.
Designed to help people choose, change, or leave a career at any stage of life. Careers are often wrapped up in people’s perceived identity, therefore, any change can cause anxiety and/or depression.
Workplace issues are a common source of stress and can include interpersonal conflict, communication problems, gossip, harassment, discrimination, low motivation and job satisfaction, performance issues, and poor job fit.
Self-esteem is the degree to which a person feels confident, valuable, and worthy of respect. Feeling low self-esteem can influence overall well-being and be linked to anxiety and/or depression.
