What does a first session with you look like?
After the first session, each individual will feel understood, at ease, and know that they are heard and will receive the best care possible.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I do administer neuropsychiatric testing, however, I do not bill insurance for this service, so it is 100% cash pay. I unfortunately do not offer a sliding scale for this service either. I incorporate different methods and tools into my plan of care, depending on the individual's needs and concerns. For my pediatric patients, that could be coloring, play therapy, listening to the child and parent(s)/caretaker(s) (when applicable by law), and prescribing medication if necessary. For my adult and geriatric patients, I include active listening, a wealth of education, and a medication/therapy combination if they are in agreement. My plans of care always include the patient's input.
