What is your style/approach to therapy?

My approach to treating OCD focuses on building a collaborative relationship, ensuring we have a foundation of honesty, trust, and respect as we explore your experiences. OCD can be tricky and sticky in thought, but my hope is to provide a safe, supportive atmosphere where you feel open to sharing. My colleagues and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for OCD. Our deep understanding of OCD’s nuances enables us to diagnose and treat it accurately. Additionally, we have received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD. When you start with therapy, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues, depending on your preference and availability. We’ll take the time to get to know you and create a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone. Reaching out when life becomes overwhelming takes courage and strength.
