What is your style/approach to therapy?
You can feel empowered to help dictate the sessions. We can utilize different therapies such as open dialog, supportive therapy, or role playing to help navigate those issues that are weighing you down. Would you prefer to try other ways of coping? We certainly can discuss that. I can prescribe medications, and we can discuss those as well to augment treatment. I fully support the use of therapists, natural supplements, and exercise to facilitate healing.
What does a first session with you look like?
Patients can expect to be listened to and supported. I will be open and honest with treatment goals and expectations. If you feel like it's a day to laugh, we can laugh. If it's a day to cry, we can do that too. It is your session, and I am here to be as supportive as I can.
